Warning!! Long post ahead…

My blog has been abandoned for awhile now, that’s coz my life has been busy since I started working at Universal Storefront Services Corp. (USSC), Western Union Agent as a Customer Service Representative (contractual for 5 months). I am  assigned to answer flight inquiries and booking airline and ferry tickets . I started first week of February and will end on June something (no final dates yet). I’ll soon be out of work again so I’m taking it all in and enjoying it while it last. My 2 bosses/co-workers (Branch Manager and Assistant Manager) are kind to me, they are so funny and fun to be with which takes all the pressure that goes with the job.

Aside from having a job, I also got me a puppy that has been taking most of my time even on my days off. It’s like having a baby lol! I have to be a responsible dog parent and sometimes I fail at that but he still loves me . His name is Hammer, my sister-in-law actually got him from her family back in Butuan. They had him for more than a month but then my brother has two little kids and they are worried that they might get bitten, they had no time to train him with their busy life joggling between running a family, taking care of two kids and their own little business plus my sister-in-law got a new job and they wanted to return him back to her parents. I came to love Hammer and I dreaded the thought of him getting transferred back and forth that I decided to take him in. He knows me and I had been spending time with him whenever I’m at my bro’s internet cafe/apartment. I haven’t had a dog in awhile so it was a big adjustment for me especially with work but I see to it that I make time for Hammer. The rest of the time I have would be to chill and catch up on my fave shows and watch movies whenever I can or when Hammer is asleep.

Anyway, I’m suppose to only have a morning off today but my boss postponed her bank appointment so I got me a full day off, which turned out to be a  perfect timing that the City Vet came to get Hammer neutered along with 2 other puppies from my Aunt and cousin. I was worried who would hold him down if I’m at work. Finally it was done, It took a little time for them to have him injected with the tranquilizer. I have to calm and hold him down. I was nervous but had to keep calm too, so as not scare and stress him more. It took a bit of time for the tranquilizer to take effect on him maybe because he was a hybrid dog? Hammer is a Labrador-German Shepherd cross. They asked me about it too.  He’s still weak and groggy because of the anesthesia, he’s been sleeping and I’m expecting him to be sleeping for a long period of time. He also has been trying to lick his incision, I told him with a soft “no” and he stopped. I’ll have to monitor his incision and have my Ma keep an eye on him when I’m at work.

I wanna get back to jogging early in the morning with my Aunt but the rain  keeps us from doing it. We started back in August of last year and we stopped eventually in October because it keeps raining in the morning and we kept postponing the day till now. It’s as if the rain knows the day we plan on jogging.

I wanna get rid of my bulging stomach, I ended up changing 2 or 3 shirts every time I go out. I mostly have tight fitting shirts  or tank tops, but these days I wear polo shirts or tops that doesn’t show or make my big tummy obvious. I look like I’m pregnant. – lol!

I used to be so skinny that I had no problems with baby fats. I hated being skinny it makes me look a bit sickly, well I was asthmatic and I just never had a good appetite plus I’m so picky with food. After years of trying to gain weight I finally did, I’m not regretting though I just miss my flat stomach. I’m not good at following through exercises coz I get lazy but I know I need to discipline myself everyday to do abs exercise if I want to have a flat stomach again. I MUST ! So I can wear a shirt without getting conscious of my body. And as they say – No Pain, No Gain! haha!

Missy is her name , our new sleeping buddy! It was given to me by a distant relative for Christmas and I love it. With her cuteness and big smile that always makes me giggle and kiss her like she’s a real dog. haha! Well, I’ll let the photo be the judge of that.

By the way, I know I am so late but Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you! I wish everyone love and happiness this Year 2012!

Yesterday i got my winning items arrived via Fedex/Air21. Yes! I won 2nd on Hoshigirl’s Giveaway contest for her blog’s 3rd year anniversary.  Yay! I was happy and excited when I learned about it. We went to Tiklas Falls for my older brother and Niece’s Birthday Celebration  yesterday, his in-laws and family came from Butuan City to celebrate with us and a couple of our family friends to0. There were many people as it was Sunday so I didn’t swim in the pool but i had an awesome time just bonding and talking to family and friends.

Tiklas Falls is 120 ft. high and is located 13 kilometers away from Gingoog City. The pools and the cottages surrounding it was restored after it was damaged from the flash flood. You can park your vehicles at the main entrance and walk 300 or 350 meters up to get to the cottages which is a bit tiring when you have to carry all your stuff (food & drinks) but it’s worth it. When we got home, i was exhausted and sleepy as expected. So i went to bed  right after i took a shower.

I continued about a week ago on the cross-stitch i started back in August of 2009. I never got to finish it, I’ve been putting it off since last year and forgot about it . It’s almost done, i just need to finish off the border and then the outline stitches. I’m hoping the person i will be giving it to, won’t get to see this or visit my blog. lol!

Besides enjoying my phones theme and changing it from time to time, being able to set any mp3 as a ringtone and using different java apps, the only thing that’s missing for me is to be able to change the font lol! So i went ahead and re-flashed it to change the boring font to my current favorite ~~ Humana Sans ITC. It’s hard if you don’t know anything about flashing like i did the first time, it was scary but it is the only way to do it since Nokia 6301b belongs to a Series 40/s40 phones which means you can only do so much unlike those high end Nokia s60 smartphones which changing  fonts is as easy as a pie.

This is my second time flashing my phone so i got the idea on how it works, still i wanted to be extra careful and searched for how to’s and read them carefully. Here’s the result~~Before and After. Lovin’ it! 

If anyone wants to do it with your s40 phone, you need Nokia Modding Tools (NMT) for editing the font (there’s a guide on that link on how to use that tool) and Phoenix 2008  (when you get to that link, scroll down to find the Preparation and Installation guide) or recent versions for flashing your phone. You can check here for your phones specification, under the quick search on the top left. Don’t do it if you’re unsure with what you’re doing though coz you don’t want to end up with a bricked phone. Double check everything and make sure you followed every instructions and you have installed the right firmware for your phone. And don’t forget to backup your phone to your flash card using “sync & backup” under (menu>Settings>Sync & backup) and remove it before flashing.

Oh and btw if you’re wondering where i get my themes check ownskin [dot] com. They have so much kawaii themes on there that i get confused lol! I ended up having tons of them saved up, so you might also like them.

Do you sleep with the lights on or off?

Mom bought me  this 3 inches small Hello Kitty nightlight to save electricity coz i stay up all night with my lights on and even when i sleep. I had no trouble sleeping with the lights off before but  i’ve been such a scaredy cat for awhile now. I let my mind play tricks on me . Now i’m trying to sleep with only this night light. It’s not pink but it’s cute and i love it!
